Neil Woodruff and I established a boulder aid problem behind my work at the Whitney Portal Store. We used a combination of natural hooks and bat hooks. We place three button-heads on lead. Here I am on a natural hook that is about to rip off, while I'm drilling the next bat hole. A Talon Hook some how caught my fall. The wall is about 45 degrees overhanging, not sure how or why the hook held, but it was a good thing it did!
