All Right! This video is part of My First Attempt with Desert Blair. Blair and Barrel Chest humped probably 300lbs pounds of equipment from 8,500ft to about 12,000ft to the base of Keeler Needle.Blair became very ill with Altitude Sickness, and was forced to come out. He was a great help along with Barrel Chest. Without them it would not have been possible.
Then Amy and I are back on the wall for a six day attempt, where we encountered five days in really bad snow storms.We were hoping to catch the winter ascent but....Oofta! We ultimately bail deciding that just getting up the wall any way would not work.
